Barefoot in the Park

I was responsible for the period-accurate set design of a 1960s Manhattan apartment. My design strategy involved a dual narrative: capturing the architectural bones of a New York brownstone while layering it with the domestic textures of a Chinese immigrant household. This meticulous approach to set dressing and spatial layout ensured the production remained grounded in authentic social history while facilitating the play's comedic movement.
